I Saw An Angel Today

We slept in, rushed around, got frustrated and angry. I cursed at
 myself, and thought God must really hate us to add this on to everything
 else. When I got the kids to the school, my daughter's grade one teacher
 smiled kindly and said "Good Morning,I'm sorry I didn't call so see if
 everything was ok." ... I saw an Angel in her eyes.

 I Saw An Angel Today:
 While leaving the school, I slipped and dropped my cane, a little boy
 known for being a toughy, stopped to pick it up for me ... I saw an
 Angel in his eyes.

 I Saw An Angel Today:
 When walking home a young lady stepped aside for me to pass, she smiled
 and said "Good Morning" ... I saw an Angel in her eyes.

 I Saw An Angel Today:
 When I got to my door, my hands shook, and I dropped my keys in behind
 the sairs.  Terrified of strangers, I went across to the neighbor where
 two rough-looking men were putting in flooring, and told them what
 happened. They imediately went to their truck, got a rod, spent time to
 bend the end 'just right' with pliers, and took 10 minutes to fish them
 out for me.  When he stood to hand them to me, "Here ya go." ...I saw an
 Angel in his eyes.

 I tried to look 'normal' with tears in my eyes, I sad, "Thank You." He
 smiled briefly, looked a little shaken himself, and walked off saying,
 "Just try not to do that again."

 Of course God doesn't hate anyone, He is always there for us, you just
 have to want to see it, in order to feel it.
