| Roslyn was born July 15th
1969. Her heart and mine were joined in a mother/daughter bond from the
first time I held her in my arms. She was 21 months old the first time
I held her.
Roslyn was born to my only
biological sister. However off and on during her childhood she was placed
with me for various reasons.
She has called me Mom forever
and she looks so much like me that few people even realize that she is
not my biological child. She loves to read and can make a meal out of anything.
Her cupboards can be nearly bare and yet she can make a meal for a houseful
if she has to. She is very creative and loves colour and designing stuff.
To her and I she is my daughter
as much as if I had of given birth to her myself. We have a bond that has
never been broken though some people have tried. I love her with every
beat of my heart and she loves me the same.
I told Roslyn when she was
very young that I would always love her as her mother and that I would
never forsake her no matter what path her life took her on. I kept that
promise to her and today we are closer then ever. We share so many beautiful
memories together and have so many more memories to make.
Roslyn had a tough life for
many years but has overcome so much and I am so proud of the beautiful
young woman she is today. These pictures were taken when she was home for
a visit last fall.

A few years ago before Roslyn learned how to work PSP she sent me the
graphic below with this note.
Mom,
I wanted to send you a little
something to tell you I love you. You definately have a wonderful
friend out there, because I got someone to make this for me, and she did
it right away. Thank you for all the time you have put into, not
only my website, my pretties but also my life.
Love
Roslyn
